League Information

League Dates: Matches on Wednesdays, June 18 to July 30. Locations TBD, at courts around Minneapolis

Practices on Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning June 10, 6:15 pm at Linden Hills Park

Please describe your athletes prior Tennis experience and skill level here

Skill Level: All skills levels are welcome. Coaches will match players with similar skill levels.

Uniforms: Provided for all players (if needed)

Equipment: Team equipment provided by SWAC. Participants may use their own racket or use one furnished by the program.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board serves up tennis programs in all skill levels for youth ages 6-17. Learn the basics of tennis and sportsmanship, polish skills and take part in team play.

Team match format allows for various levels of play, ranging from first time players to those who have had previous experience playing tennis. This is a great way to meet friends, enjoy summer evenings and learn a lifetime sport. For boys and girls ages 9-14.

The Southwest Activities Council (SWAC) was formed as an all volunteer organization to organize and administer Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board youth sports programs for the children in the southwest neighborhoods of Minneapolis.
